About the Product
MQ-8 Hydrogen Gas Sensor Module – High-Sensitivity H₂ Detection
The MQ-8 is a high-performance hydrogen gas detection sensor module designed for precise and reliable H₂ monitoring. Operating at DC 5V with a low power consumption of 150mA, it delivers both TTL digital output and analog output for flexible integration into various systems.
Built with tin dioxide (SnO₂), the sensor offers excellent conductivity in clean air and rapidly detects hydrogen-containing gases such as city gas. With a fast ~20-second warm-up time, high sensitivity, and stable operation, it’s well-suited for industrial safety systems, gas leak alarms, and embedded electronics projects.
