About the Product
MQ-9 Flammable Gas Sensor Module – High-Sensitivity CO & Combustible Gas Detection
The MQ-9 flammable gas sensor module is designed for accurate and reliable detection of carbon monoxide (CO), methane (CH₄), and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) in industrial safety systems. Operating at DC 5V with a 150mA power consumption, it offers both TTL digital and analog outputs for easy integration with microcontrollers and embedded systems.
Featuring tin dioxide (SnO₂) as the sensing material, the MQ-9 utilizes a low-temperature cycling method for precise CO detection, while maintaining high sensitivity to various combustible gases. With a fast ~20-second warm-up time, stable performance, and cost-effective design, it is ideal for gas leak alarms, industrial monitoring, and automation applications.
